Students and academic staff from the Quality Control in Manufacturing Program of Ostim Technical University Vocational School conducted a technical visit to AFS’s production facilities to reinforce their theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience.
As part of the visit, which was organized with the aim of observing quality processes in manufacturing on-site, the group had the opportunity to closely examine AFS’s production operations. The program began with a general introductory presentation about the industry. This was followed by an AFS corporate presentation, where comprehensive information was shared on the company’s development, production infrastructure, quality approach, export activities, and its position within the sector.
Throughout the technical visit, students observed production lines, quality control stages, and testing processes on-site. Participants also visited the showroom and R&D facilities within AFS, gaining detailed insights into testing practices compliant with international standards and quality assurance systems.
During the program, students’ questions were addressed by AFS representatives, who also provided guidance on career planning. The technical visit was observed to contribute significantly to the students’ professional development and to enhance their awareness of the industry.
