AFS, a prominent brand in the HVAC industry, has publicly released its 2024 Water Footprint Report as part of its ongoing environmental sustainability initiatives. This publication reaffirms the company’s firm commitment to the preservation of natural resources, the reduction of environmental impact, and the promotion of sustainability awareness across society.
Having previously led the sector with its carbon footprint reporting, and having bolstered its sustainability, oriented production approach through investments in solar power plants and attainment of the Zero Waste Certificate, AFS now continues to set a benchmark through its transparent and measurable practices in water management.
In a statement regarding the report, Ahmet Poyraz, Domestic Sales Manager at AFS, remarked:
“We recognize that the water crisis is no longer a prospective threat, but an urgent reality. Factors such as global climate change, population growth, and industrialization are placing increasing strain on our water resources each year. Accordingly, our 2024 Water Footprint Report serves not only as a measurement tool, but also as a call to awareness and collective action. Our objective is not limited to transforming our internal operations; we aim to engage all stakeholders, from suppliers to customers, in this journey of transformation. Building a sustainable future is a shared responsibility. Efficient water use is no longer optional it is imperative.”
