AFS Flexible Duct Co. Supported ASHRAE’s new global headquarters building Project in the USA.
Founded in 1894, ASHRAE is a global professional society committed to serving humanity, by advancing the arts and sciences of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration and their allied fields. ASHRAE is renovating a two-story, 66.700 square-foot building to become a showcase for the latest HVAC&R equipment and state-of-the-art technology in the built environment. AFS, the leading flexible air duct manufacturer in the world and exporter of ventilation products to 78 countries, has supported ASHRAE by providing flexible air ducts for the project.
The technical standards and design criteria developed by ASHRAE, which is one of the rare associations that has an R&D program, are accepted at he highest level all over the World. These standards, which are revised and re-published for certain periods according to changing and developing conditions, are closely followed by mechanical installation engineers and contractors, architects, consultanting engineers, private and public institutions and organizations working in the related field.
